Short version
Internship at IM Swedish Development Partner planning two upcoming events, one philanthropic event in Sweden and one event in El Salvador relating to the project Humanism Metal by IM. You will be a central part of our team and work directly with the project leader and our partners, in Sweden and abroad.


Long version
This autumn IM plans to arrange two major events and is looking for an energetic and structured student to join our project team in Lund. The internship is part time to full time from May to December, with summer holiday. You will be working close together with colleagues from different departments in both Sweden and abroad creating events that engage people in our vision of a world free from poverty and exclusion. The first event is a celebration of the International Day of Peace, featuring distinguished experts within international development cooperation and foreign policy. The second event is a delegation trip to El Salvador, where partner companies and philanthropists will visit our award-winning project Humanium Metal by IM. Join us – together we can change the world!



  • Plan and execute the two events, in collaboration with the project leaders.
  • Develop the content and concept of each event.
  • Communicate with participants.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.



  • Energetic, structured and independent.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience from project management or event planning.
  • Experience from marketing, communication, PR, sales and similar is regarded as a merit.
  • Knowledge of development cooperation is regarded as a merit.


The position is based at IM headquarters in Lund. The internship is part time to full time, depending on your availability but will be specified before the internship starts. The internship period is from 1 May to 16 December 2019. This is an unpaid internship.
