Who We Are

Reach for Change is a quickly growing global non-profit organization founded by the Kinnevik Group and Sara Damber to improve lives for children. We find and help passionate social entrepreneurs develop innovative solutions that make the world better for children. We launched in Sweden in 2010 and are supporting more than 600 social entrepreneurs across 18 countries.

Who You Are

We believe you have a positive, entrepreneurial and problem-solving attitude-you’ll be eager to seek out and follow up on new opportunities, and constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve. You have a business mindset in addition to a strong passion for social entrepreneurship. As a person, you are thorough, detail-oriented, keen on research and demonstrate good writing and communication skills. You don’t hesitate to take the initiative in being proactive, as well as like having many different projects to juggle at the same time. We hope you have an interest in fundraising and want to gain experience within an international non-profit organization.

What we can offer

This is a varied role and the tasks will include drafting and proofreading proposals and reports, doing donor related research, supporting in the coordination of the global fundraising task force, working with different events and activities involving our corporate partners and assisting the global Partnerships and Fundraising managers with different tasks. You will also have the opportunities to attend conferences and networking events to seek potential partners and advance your own learning and personal network. We hope you…

● Are a student or graduate of economy; communication; entrepreneurship; political science; or other social science majors. Either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

● Have great proficiency in English and Swedish – the languages we use for most of our communication.

● Experience in fundraising, business/project management, strategic communication and institutional funding would be an advantage.

● Prior working experience (internship) at a non-profit organization or a institution is a plus.

● Are connected to a university where the internship is part of your education plan. This is an unpaid position, however it’s very important to us that you are receiving funds from a third party (CSN or other source of income).
