About the company

Congressman Hultgren (Republican Party) initiated the Congressional Swedish Caucus to promote economic and cultural ties with Sweden and the United States. The caucus functions as a bi-partisan platform for US-Swedish interests; it is not affiliated with any one particular political party. Born and raised in the northwest suburbs, with grandparents that all came from Sweden, Congressman Hultgren studied to be an attorney and then worked as an investment advisor. He then served at multiple levels of Illinois government before 2010, when he was elected to represent the 14th Congressional district of Illinois. In his Washington D.C. office, interns gain priceless practical experience in the political center that is Washington D.C.
